What You’ll Do
- Implement recruitment and selection processes by advertising vacant posts and conducting interviews.
- Carry out personnel suitability checks and verify qualifications of candidates.
- Handle appointments, promotions, transfers, and relocations on the PERSAL system.
- Assist Management with structuring salary packages and implementing them on PERSAL.
- Update basic employee information on the PERSAL system regularly.
- Manage exit interviews and request exit interview questionnaires.
- Support the appointment of employees in development programmes.
- Address HR enquiries relating to HR practices and policies.
What You’ll Need
- A National Diploma or Advanced Certificate in HR, Public Administration, Social Sciences, or an equivalent NQF 6 qualification.
- Two years of relevant experience in a recruitment environment, along with practical knowledge of the PERSAL system.
- A compulsory PERSAL Introduction Certificate.
- Familiarity with relevant legislation governing public service, including the Public Service Act and Labour Relations Act.
- Strong analytical and innovative thinking skills, along with effective communication and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in computer skills and report writing.
- Ability to work under pressure and interpret policies effectively.
- Capability to conduct research and work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal relations skills.
