What You’ll Do
- Supervise and support HR personnel to ensure effective operations.
- Monitor resource availability and order supplies as needed.
- Assess and evaluate employee performance according to departmental standards.
- Coordinate the implementation of human resource administrative practices.
- Manage and administer conditions of service and employee benefits.
- Handle performance management processes and liaise with the PMDS unit.
- Administer skills development initiatives and training policies.
- Respond to enquiries and provide general administrative support.
- Manage audit queries and ensure compliance with departmental policies.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 certificate.
- A National Diploma (NQF 6) in Human Resource Management is advantageous.
- At least three years of experience in an HR environment.
- Knowledge of departmental HR policies, the Public Service Act, and Batho Pele principles.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Planning and organizational skills with proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team.
- A valid driver’s license.
