What You’ll Do
- Administer leave functions by receiving and verifying information on leave applications.
- Manage and direct unscheduled leave, ensuring compliance with relevant policies.
- Audit leave files to maintain accurate records and facilitate smooth operations.
- Oversee applications for Medical Boards, Death Boards, Alcohol Boards, and Stress & Depression Boards.
- Review and monitor leave capturing processes to ensure data integrity.
- Analyze and evaluate unused leave, providing insights for workforce planning.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification (NQF level 4 as recognized by SAQA).
- Proficiency in English and at least one other official language.
- Competency in core functions of the post, demonstrating independence, professionalism, and accountability.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
- General computer literacy, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Relevant courses in the field of Human Resources will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and sound planning and organizing skills.
