What You’ll Do
- Provide administrative support for staff terminations, appointments, and transfers.
- Ensure that employee files are opened, maintained, updated, and closed as necessary.
- Process appointment, termination, and transfer transactions on the PERSAL system.
- Manage the administration of acting allowances and contract extensions.
- Capture Z102 forms on the PCM system.
- Facilitate communication and manage documentation for the salary section and other relevant departments.
- Handle client inquiries and escalate issues as necessary.
- Perform general office administrative tasks, including preparing documents for meetings and managing correspondence.
- Order stationery and manage office supplies.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 Certificate or Senior Certificate, with 1-2 years of experience in the Human Resources sector, focusing on terminations, appointments, and transfers.
- A relevant National Diploma or Degree (NQF6 with at least 360 credits) is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with the PERSAL system.
- Knowledge of HR processes, policies, and public service prescripts related to appointments and terminations.
- Strong customer relations and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and good interpersonal relations.
- A team-oriented mindset with a commitment to customer service.
