What You’ll Do

• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in designated areas of the hospital.
• Remove garbage and ensure proper disposal.
• Clean restrooms, bathrooms, and other common areas, adhering to hygiene regulations.
• Wash, dust, polish, vacuum, and sweep as needed.
• Clean kitchen utensils and equipment, ensuring they are ready for use.
• Track and maintain stock levels of cleaning materials and utensils.
• Safeguard and keep cleaning equipment in good working condition.
• Report any equipment needing repair or replacement.
• Clean and arrange the boardroom, preparing it for meetings.
• Implement basic security measures and monitor for hazards.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks as necessary.
• Adhere to infection control and hygiene regulations.

What You’ll Need

• NQF Level 1 or 2 (ABET Level 2 certificate or equivalent).
• Good communication skills and the ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Reliability and honesty in all duties performed.
• Physical strength to meet the demands of the role.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
