What You’ll Do

• Provide policy support and advice to Political Principals in The Presidency.
• Facilitate policy coordination across government through the Cabinet system and FOSAD.
• Liaise with senior officials and external research institutions to identify research gaps impacting public policy.
• Conduct socio-economic impact assessments related to policy outcomes.
• Offer technical support to structures chaired by the President and Deputy President.

What You’ll Need

• A Senior Certificate plus an appropriate Hons Degree/Postgraduate or equivalent qualification recognized by SAQA at NQF level 8.
• 8-10 years of experience at a senior managerial level.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Client orientation and customer focus.
• Honesty, integrity, and commitment to service delivery innovation.
• Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Knowledge of the Public Service Regulatory Framework and government policies.
• Experience with research methodologies and monitoring and evaluation techniques.
