What You’ll Do

  • Verify all registered claims on the electronic claim register to ensure accuracy.
  • Oversee the verification of payment schedules for miscellaneous claims and foreign journey claims.
  • Report weekly on claims paid in cash exceeding R2000, ensuring proper approvals are obtained.
  • Assist with the preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management.
  • Gather and provide all necessary source documents for audits and inquiries from various authorities.
  • Populate and maintain the SharePoint library with approved designations by province and division.
  • Manage the electronic archiving of processed claims and payments.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification (NQF Level 4).
  • At least four years of experience in a relevant financial or administrative role.
  • A three-year Diploma/Degree (NQF level 6 or higher) will be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in English and at least one other official language.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant public service prescripts and good verbal and written communication skills.
  • General computer literacy, including MS Office applications.
  • Valid driver’s license for light motor vehicles is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines effectively.
