What You’ll Do
- Assist in recovering liquid debts from various stakeholders, including employees and other departments.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation related to debt recovery.
- Collaborate with internal and external personnel to facilitate debt resolution.
- Prepare reports and documentation to support financial audits and assessments.
- Ensure compliance with relevant prescripts applicable to the public service.
- Provide guidance and supervision to junior clerks within the finance team.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification (NQF Level 4 as recognized by SAQA).
- At least four (4) years of relevant experience in a financial or administrative role.
- A three (3) year Diploma/Degree (NQF level 6 or higher as recognized by SAQA) is an advantage.
- Proficiency in English and at least one other official language.
- A valid driver’s license for at least a light motor vehicle is preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and other MS Office applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
