What You’ll Do
- Process changes to employee banking details accurately.
- Manage and administer salary stoppages and payroll processes.
- Oversee the administration of payments for private telephone calls.
- Administer and ensure the accuracy of tax numbers for employees in the province.
- Process overtime claims and related financial matters.
- Address various aspects related to housing for public service employees.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of four (4) years’ experience in a relevant financial role.
- A Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification.
- A three (3) year Diploma/Degree (NQF Level 6 or higher) in a related field is an advantage.
- Proficiency in English and at least one other official language.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid understanding of relevant prescripts applicable to the Public Service.
- General computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office, etc.).
- Proven problem-solving, planning, organizing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and willingness to extend working hours when necessary.
