What You’ll Do

  • Assist in the development and review of internal control frameworks and policies.
  • Participate in establishing and reviewing internal control systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Consolidate and monitor the implementation of action plans based on findings from assurance providers.
  • Analyze assurance reports and compile summaries for oversight bodies, including various committees.
  • Identify weaknesses in internal controls and prepare detailed reports.
  • Contribute to the creation of materials promoting financial management awareness.

What You’ll Need

  • Competency in financial management core functions.
  • Proficiency in at least English and one other official language.
  • Grade 12 / Senior Certificate / NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification (NQF level 4).
  • Relevant courses in financial management are advantageous.
  • General computer literacy skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent planning, organizing, administrative, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work under pressure and willingness to put in extended hours.
