What You’ll Do
- Assist with processing final benefits for deceased employees and support debt recovery from pension benefits.
- Help clear ledger accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Manage resignation and dismissal processes, including the freezing, reversal, and recall of salaries for ex-employees, in line with established regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain compliance with the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and Treasury Regulations.
- Provide administrative support that enhances the overall efficiency of the department’s financial operations.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in English and at least one other official language.
- Relevant coursework or training related to the financial field is an advantage.
- Strong computer literacy skills, particularly in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate accountability and professionalism.
- Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- A customer-focused mindset and the ability to work under pressure.
