What You’ll Do
- Supervise and manage financial accounting transactions and reporting.
- Oversee the verification and processing of invoices for correctness and approval.
- Ensure proper filing and documentation of all financial records.
- Supervise the collection and allocation of cash payments.
- Manage salary administration, including processing salary advices and adjustments.
- Verify and maintain accurate records of debtors and creditors.
- Assist with budget support services by comparing expenditure against budget and identifying variances.
- Supervise and support staff in their financial duties, ensuring quality of work and personnel development.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 Certificate or relevant equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial environment.
- Basic knowledge of financial functions and public service financial legislation.
- Familiarity with financial operating systems like PERSAL, BAS, and LOGIS.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- Good numeracy and accuracy skills.
- Teamwork and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to work additional hours as needed.
