What You’ll Do

  • Provide technological advisory services to engineers and technicians.
  • Promote adherence to safety standards in line with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate and update technical manuals, standard drawings, and procedures to incorporate modern technologies.
  • Solve complex technological challenges using proven techniques and procedures.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage ongoing technology initiatives.
  • Identify technical solutions and optimize engineering principles.
  • Compile and submit monthly and quarterly reports for project tracking.
  • Contribute to the operational plan and develop databases for project management.
  • Conduct research on new technologies and procedures to enhance expertise.
  • Liaise with relevant boards and councils on engineering-related matters.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering (B Tech) or a relevant qualification.
  • Three years of post-qualification experience as an Engineering Technologist.
  • Compulsory registration with ECSA as a Professional Civil Engineering Technologist.
  • A valid driving license.
  • Strong knowledge of project management and technical design and analysis.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided engineering applications.
  • Ability to write technical reports and ensure legal compliance.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and teamwork skills.
  • Effective communication and people management abilities.
