What You’ll Do

• Conduct dam safety evaluations to ensure compliance with national safety standards.
• Oversee the implementation of rehabilitation projects, ensuring they meet legal and budgetary requirements.
• Manage small to medium-sized projects, including all technical, environmental, and financial aspects.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to facilitate project execution and address any challenges that arise.
• Ensure adherence to procurement processes and maintain compliance with applicable standards.
• Utilize structural analysis software and MS Office tools for project management and reporting.

What You’ll Need

• A Civil Engineering degree (B Eng / BSc Eng) and compulsory registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer.
• A minimum of three years of post-qualification experience, with a focus on dam engineering.
• Experience in project and contracts management, particularly in the public sector.
• A valid, unexpired driver’s license.
• Strong financial planning and management skills.
• Excellent communication abilities, including conflict management and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in computer literacy and familiarity with common software programs.
