Requirements
• A completed Higher Professional Education (HBO) degree in Electrical Engineering
• You are in possession of a valid VCA (VOL) certificate.
• 5 years and more experience from places like Eskom
• Advance if fluent in Afrikaans
About the Role
• Engineering and technical detailing of modifications to existing electrical installations.
• Elaborating changes to electrical diagrams, cables, power supplies, and components.
• Creating and checking technical specifications, bills of materials, spare parts proposals, and engineering documentation.
• Guiding projects from initiative through execution to delivery.
• Coordinating activities with project management, contractors, and the site.
• Evaluating technical proposals from suppliers and contractors.
• Guiding and supporting execution, testing, and commissioning.
• Checking whether modifications are carried out correctly and in accordance with applicable standards and safety requirements.
• Updating technical documentation and ensuring a smooth handover to the maintenance organization.
