This 18-month programme offers invaluable practical experience in hospitality operations, kitchen management, and food service environments. Participants will receive a monthly stipend of R4,500 while gaining hands-on experience in a structured training environment.

Key Responsibilities
As a Hospitality Trainee, you will:
– Compile and place orders
– Conduct stock taking for food and equipment
– Manage store keeping and issue ingredients
– Engage in nutrition and menu planning
– Assist lecturers with demonstrations
– Cook food for the crèche
– Liaise with suppliers and generate quotations
– Assist with planning functions
– Maintain MSDS records in the kitchen
– Ensure OHS administration compliance
– Supervise students during functions and restaurant days

Requirements/Qualifications
Applicants must possess an N6 Hospitality Certificate. This programme is ideal for those who have completed their N6 in Hospitality and seek practical experience in food service and kitchen operations.

Important Notes
Applications using the old Z83 form will be disqualified. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. If no response is received within 60 days, consider your application unsuccessful. Employment Equity principles will apply. Applicants who have already completed an 18-month internship should not apply.
