What You’ll Do
- Coordinate and manage activities within the district office to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Design and implement area-specific strategies for effective programme and project management.
- Facilitate administrative support to service centers within the district to enhance operational efficiency.
- Conduct profiling and analysis of district needs to inform service delivery improvements.
- Develop business plans aligned with municipal Integrated Development Plans (IDPs).
- Evaluate service outcomes at the community level to ensure effectiveness.
- Manage the communication office and ensure clear information dissemination.
- Oversee the development of District plans that align with departmental strategic objectives.
- Provide leadership and strategic direction for the implementation of key policies and programmes.
- Monitor operational performance at all district and area offices to ensure service delivery coherence.
What You’ll Need
- National Senior Certificate and a Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Social Science, Social Work, Community Development, or Public Administration.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a middle/senior managerial role.
- Completion of the Nyukela Public Service SMS Pre-Entry Programme is mandatory.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
- Competencies in strategic capacity, leadership, people management, financial management, and service delivery innovation are essential.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on client orientation and problem-solving abilities.
