The Western Cape Government is looking to fill the vital role of Director: Provincial-Wide Monitoring and Evaluation. What You’ll Do
- Lead the development of a data and evidence system to ensure reliable collection and management of data.
- Maintain an integrated indicator system for monitoring policy priorities and data development.
- Generate and analyze data to inform government performance results and impact assessments.
- Ensure compliance with government-wide Monitoring and Evaluation frameworks and data governance policies.
- Provide strategic leadership and management to the Directorate, driving planning and resource alignment.
- Recruit, develop, and retain a skilled team to meet the Directorate’s objectives and improve service delivery.
- Manage the Directorate’s budget, ensuring efficient and effective financial management.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate qualification at NQF level 7, recognized by SAQA.
- At least 5 years of experience at a middle or senior managerial level.
- Successful completion of the Senior Management Service entry certificate before appointment.
- Proven knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks, including public finance management.
- Strong strategic planning, leadership, and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and adaptability skills for managing complex situations.
