What You’ll Do
- Provide strategic leadership in integrated land administration and spatial information management.
- Oversee the management of cadastral surveying programs and spatial information systems.
- Ensure quality assurance of spatial and cadastral data and develop data standards.
- Coordinate with municipalities, surveyors, and GIS service providers to align land management practices.
- Manage land rights administration processes, including land acquisition and compliance with legislation.
- Oversee financial management functions, including budgeting and procurement.
- Lead human resource management within the directorate, focusing on team development and performance.
- Drive strategic and operational planning to align with organizational objectives.
- Ensure effective stakeholder engagement and intergovernmental coordination.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree or Advanced diploma in Real Estate, Property Management, or Property Law at NQF Level 7.
- A minimum of five years’ experience in land management at a middle or senior management level.
- Knowledge of Treasury Regulations and public sector financial management.
- Familiarity with land administration systems and compliance frameworks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Proven people management and team leadership experience.
