What You’ll Do

  • Ensure the completeness, correctness, and currency of approved cadastral documents.
  • Record deductions and prepare certificates of remainders.
  • Maintain registers and documents for perpetual legibility and usefulness.
  • Amend and withdraw cadastral documents as necessary.
  • Manage the archiving of cadastral documents and information securely.
  • Provide hard copies and electronic images of approved cadastral documents to stakeholders.
  • Issue certified copies of documents for registration purposes.
  • Produce maps and plans utilizing cadastral spatial information.
  • Handle bulk requests for digital cadastral spatial information.
  • Supervise the maintenance of the cadastral correspondence filing system.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 Certificate and an NQF Level 7 Degree in Geomatics, Surveying, or a related field.
  • Registration as a Geomatics Professional, Geomatics Technologist, or Geomatics Technician with the South African Geomatics Council (SAGC).
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience at a middle/senior management level in a cadastral survey environment.
  • In-depth job-related knowledge of cadastral survey practices and land administration systems.
  • Strong skills in project management, team management, and communication.
