What You’ll Do

  • Design, maintain, and implement HR planning, administration, and employment equity policies
  • Manage initiatives to enhance employee experience and monitor the delivery of HR services
  • Oversee the administration of employee information management systems
  • Provide insights and trends for data-driven HR reporting and decision-making
  • Drive the development of long-term and mid-term HR and Employment Equity plans
  • Coordinate the implementation of rewards and attendance policies
  • Review and design HR delegations of authority and personnel records
  • Recommend opportunities for improvement and performance enhancement
  • Contribute to strategic leadership and operational excellence in human resources

What You’ll Need

  • An NQF Level 7/ Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, Labour Relations, Business Management, Public Administration, or a relevant equivalent qualification
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in a Human Capital Management environment at the middle/senior management level
  • Strong strategic capabilities and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of government administrative processes and HR governance
  • Excellent people management and empowerment abilities
  • Experience in programme and project management, as well as financial management
  • Proficiency in change management and problem-solving
  • Customer-focused with strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
