What You’ll Do

  • Manage and facilitate the implementation of integrated developmental social services at the district level.
  • Coordinate the provision of professional support services across various institutions.

  • Oversee financial administration services to ensure effective resource management.
  • Direct corporate services to support the overall functioning of the department.
  • Manage and coordinate the implementation of services at sub-district levels to maximize outreach.

What You’ll Need

  • A National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) and a Degree in Public Administration or Social Sciences (NQF Level 7) as recognized by SAQA.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a middle or senior managerial role.
  • Ability to compile complex reports effectively.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
  • In-depth understanding of Public Service legislation, including the Public Service Act and related policies.
  • Strong leadership and presentation skills, complemented by excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Managerial and organizational experience that reflects a commitment to public service.
