What You’ll Do

  • Ensure compliance with financial management standards, including the Public Finance Management Act and Treasury Regulations
  • Oversee the implementation of financial policies, systems, and procedures
  • Manage the departmental budget and financial accounting processes
  • Supervise supply chain management, facilities, and office administration
  • Provide logistics, travel, and transport services
  • Maintain finance systems and oversee internal controls and reporting services
  • Develop and manage budget reporting and payment services
  • Ensure asset revenue and lease revenue management

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 Certificate and a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in a relevant field (Cost Management Accounting, Financial Management, Accounting, etc.)
  • A Nyukela certificate (Pre-entry Certificate to the SMS) submitted prior to appointment
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience at a middle/senior managerial level in a relevant environment
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Treasury Regulations
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
  • A willingness to travel and adapt in a dynamic work environment
