What You’ll Do

• Lead the strategic direction of inter-governmental relations in economic development and environmental management.
• Oversee the implementation of policies and strategies aimed at local and regional economic growth.
• Coordinate integrated environmental management services across the District.
• Collaborate with national entities and the DEDEAT Group to ensure equitable service delivery.
• Gather and maintain reliable economic and environmental data for informed decision-making.
• Manage resources effectively in compliance with legislative and departmental policies.

What You’ll Need

• National Senior Certificate plus NQF Level 7 (B-Degree/Advanced Diploma) in Economics, Business Management, Public Administration, Environmental Management Sciences, or equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience at a middle or senior management level.
• Nyukela SMS Pre-Entry Certificate.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Strong understanding of Public Service Act and Regulations.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in time management, planning, and problem-solving.
