What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement systems database and development plans in line with business needs and legislative requirements.
- Create and maintain databases, computerized systems, and software applications to fulfill specific information requirements.
- Ensure the reliability, availability, and security of all systems and databases through continuous monitoring and support.
- Compile performance reports and oversee the implementation of systems in compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Manage human resources and performance according to established regulations and prescripts.
What You’ll Need
- A qualification at NQF Level 7 in Business Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a junior management role, demonstrating leadership capabilities.
- Knowledge of the Digital Transformation Strategy of the Public Services and relevant legislative frameworks.
- Familiarity with information security principles, database development standards, and ICT governance frameworks.
- Strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
