What You’ll Do

  • Manage and maintain EIA-related applications and land use requests.
  • Ensure compliance with NEMA and the Gauteng Provincial Environmental Management Framework.
  • Oversee the safekeeping of all environmental records and authorizations.
  • Conduct initial screenings of applications for compliance before they proceed to review.
  • Provide leadership and strategic support to your unit and manage various projects.
  • Coordinate human, financial, and equipment resources effectively.
  • Facilitate environmental management logistics and support for various initiatives.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 certificate plus a Bachelor’s Degree (NQF level 7) in Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a middle management role within a relevant field.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Strong computer literacy and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven analytical and conceptual reasoning abilities.
  • Experience in conflict management and diversity management.
  • Competence in program and project management, financial management, and people management.
