What You’ll Do

  • Assess and monitor adherence to financial management prescripts
  • Evaluate compliance with financial delegations’ prescripts
  • Analyze and review audit action plans for departments and public entities
  • Oversee the review of completed Financial Management Capability Maturity Model (FMCMM) modules for municipalities
  • Prepare and review feedback reports on compliance with information management and reporting requirements
  • Manage human and financial resources effectively

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience in an internal control, auditing, or compliance environment at a junior management level
  • A Bachelor of Commerce degree, Advanced Diploma, or BTech in Accounting, Internal Auditing, Financial Management, Public Finance Management, Public Administration, or Corporate Governance (NQF Level 7)
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills
  • Good management and supervisory abilities
