What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain performance monitoring and reporting frameworks for the department.
- Consolidate and review quarterly performance reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Participate in departmental performance review sessions, providing insights and facilitating discussions.
- Finalize quarterly performance reports and oversee their sign-off by the Director-General or delegated officials.
- Facilitate the submission of reports to internal audit and national treasury, ensuring transparency.
- Conduct workshops to improve understanding of reporting guidelines among departmental programmes.
- Review and consolidate input for annual and mid-term reports, ensuring strategic alignment.
- Generate operational plan reports and facilitate their submission for review and improvement.
- Provide oversight on provincial reporting through the Electronic Quarterly Performance Reporting System.
What You’ll Need
- Senior Certificate / Matric Certificate / Grade 12 Certificate / NQF 4 or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum three-year National Diploma (NQF level 6) or Degree (NQF level 7) in Monitoring and Evaluation, Public Administration, or related fields.
- 3-5 years relevant experience, with at least 3 years at an Assistant Director level in a monitoring and evaluation environment.
- Strong knowledge of business management principles, strategic planning, and resource allocation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in computer literacy and skilled in planning, organizing, and presenting information effectively.
