What You’ll Do

  • Provide technical support on manufacturing sector development initiatives.
  • Facilitate research to support manufacturing sector growth and coordination.
  • Offer technical and institutional support to provincial and local government agencies.
  • Coordinate activities within the manufacturing sector in the Eastern Cape.
  • Manage administrative functions related to manufacturing projects.

What You’ll Need

  • National Senior Certificate plus a B Degree (NQF level 7) in Business Development Studies, Engineering, or Operations Management.
  • A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a similar role, preferably as an Assistant Director in manufacturing development.
  • Knowledge of the Public Service Act, PFMA, Special Economic Act, and Industrial Policy.
  • Strong communication, report writing, computer literacy, and project management skills.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.
