What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement policies, guidelines, norms, and standards for economic development.
- Manage and coordinate integrated economic development initiatives and governance efforts.
- Monitor and evaluate economic development activities and business regulation compliance.
- Oversee capacity-building programs aimed at empowering local businesses and stakeholders.
- Facilitate the promotion and protection of consumer rights within the community.
- Perform administrative functions and manage related tasks effectively.
What You’ll Need
- National Senior Certificate and a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Economics, Business Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience at Assistant Director level or in a Junior Management position.
- Strong understanding of the Public Service Act and Regulations.
- Excellent strategic planning and leadership skills.
- Proficient communication, writing, and analytical skills.
- Competence in time management, planning, and organizing.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
