What You’ll Do

• Deploy, patch, and monitor physical and virtual servers, storage networks, and cloud environments.
• Oversee backup job schedules and manage the restoration processes for virtual machines, files, and databases.
• Design and implement standards for directory integrated services and monitor their execution.
• Manage the Mimecast platform for secure email and incident response protocols.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, providing 2nd and 3rd-line support.
• Monitor backup availability and conduct disaster recovery drills.
• Assist with budgeting, vendor management, and contract negotiations related to ICT services.
• Compile reports for governance committees and support internal and external audits.

What You’ll Need

• An appropriate bachelor’s degree or advanced diploma in Information Technology or related field.
• Certification in Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE) or VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
• A minimum of five years of relevant ICT experience, including three years in a junior management role.
• Strong knowledge of Public Service Corporate Governance of ICT Policy Framework and related legislation.
• Practical experience in managing backup infrastructure and resolving operational incidents.
• Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.
• A valid driver’s license.
