What You’ll Do

  • Provide strategic leadership in developing and implementing the ICT strategy and digital transformation programme.
  • Oversee ICT governance, enterprise architecture, and ICT planning to align technology solutions with business requirements.
  • Ensure the delivery of secure and reliable ICT services, including operations, infrastructure, networks, applications, and customer support.
  • Direct the development and maintenance of ICT systems and digital platforms to enhance organizational performance and access to justice services.
  • Lead initiatives in information security, cybersecurity, and ICT risk management to protect the department’s digital environment.
  • Establish effective project management and governance frameworks to ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Manage resources efficiently, focusing on performance management and human resource development within the branch.

What You’ll Need

  • An NQF Level 8 qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related ICT field.
  • A minimum of eight years’ experience at a Senior Management level in an ICT environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of ICT governance, strategy development, digital transformation, and service management.
  • Strong leadership and strategic capabilities with a focus on programme and project management.
  • Excellent analytical, planning, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale ICT modernization initiatives and manage multidisciplinary teams.
