What You’ll Do

• Develop and implement strategic plans that align with the department’s vision and objectives.
• Oversee financial management practices, ensuring budget adherence and financial accountability.

• Manage and coordinate agricultural development projects, ensuring they meet community needs and sustainability standards.

What You’ll Need

• A relevant qualification in Agricultural Science or Public Administration (5 years, NQF 8).
• At least 8 years of senior management experience in a related field.
• Successful completion of the Senior Management Pre-entry Programme.
• Strong planning, organisational, and computer skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with a strategic mindset.
