What You’ll Do

• Develop and implement tactical and operational plans for district management.
• Oversee fieldwork operations and services within the district.
• Manage corporate services and allocate resources effectively.
• Conduct stakeholder engagements to promote and disseminate Stats SA products and services.
• Lead and manage staff, ensuring high performance and effective team dynamics.

What You’ll Need

• A Bachelor’s degree (NQF 7) in relevant fields such as Statistics, Mathematics, or Public Management.
• 3-4 years of experience in a managerial role, particularly in field operations or statistical support.
• Strong knowledge of survey methodologies, project management, and financial management.
• Proven skills in communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement.
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to drive.
