What You’ll Do

  • Create custom dental devices using materials like ceramics, metals, and acrylics
  • Follow precise written instructions and impressions or digital scans provided by clinicians
  • Shape, polish, and colour-match dental appliances to resemble natural teeth
  • Verify the safety and quality of devices before they leave the laboratory

What You’ll Need

  • Senior Certificate / Grade 12 with an appropriate qualification for registration with the South African Dental Technician Council (SADTC)
  • Current registration with the HPCSA as a Dental Technician (2026)
  • For SA qualified employees: no experience required after registration with HPCSA
  • For foreign qualified employees: one year of relevant experience after HPCSA registration
  • Knowledge of dialysis machines and reverse osmosis/water purification systems
  • Understanding of infection prevention and control (IPC) protocols
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Effective communication and good organizational skills
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
