What You’ll Do
- Create custom dental devices using materials like ceramics, metals, and acrylics
- Follow precise written instructions and impressions or digital scans provided by clinicians
- Shape, polish, and colour-match dental appliances to resemble natural teeth
- Verify the safety and quality of devices before they leave the laboratory
What You’ll Need
- Senior Certificate / Grade 12 with an appropriate qualification for registration with the South African Dental Technician Council (SADTC)
- Current registration with the HPCSA as a Dental Technician (2026)
- For SA qualified employees: no experience required after registration with HPCSA
- For foreign qualified employees: one year of relevant experience after HPCSA registration
- Knowledge of dialysis machines and reverse osmosis/water purification systems
- Understanding of infection prevention and control (IPC) protocols
- Basic computer literacy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Effective communication and good organizational skills
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
