What You’ll Do

  • Accurately capture data from available records into databases, tables, and spreadsheets.
  • Verify and correct any missing data or errors during data entry.
  • Review and validate all data from records to ensure accuracy.
  • Submit data and maintain regular backups to prevent loss.
  • Update registers and statistical information as required.
  • Organise and secure records and files properly.
  • Provide information and support to various components within the department.
  • Collect and distribute files and correspondence to Registrars and other staff.
  • Assist with inquiries related to quasi-judicial matters from attorneys.
  • Maintain a meticulous and organised approach to all case records and data capturing tasks.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 certificate is essential.
  • A valid driver’s license is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of clerical duties and data capturing practices.
  • Knowledge of Batho Pele principles and effective communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a customer service orientation.
  • Computer literacy with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills, along with numeric proficiency.
  • A self-driven and motivated attitude, with the ability to be flexible.
