What You’ll Do
- Process and dispatch crime information received via various channels, including the Crime Stop hotline and social media.
- Request and manage feedback on pending cases to facilitate timely investigations.
- Compile daily and monthly reports to track and analyze crime trends and resource management.
- Work collaboratively with law enforcement teams to enhance public safety initiatives.
- Uphold professionalism and accountability in all interactions with the public and colleagues.
What You’ll Need
- Proficiency in English and at least one other official language.
- A Grade 12 / Senior Certificate / NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification (NQF Level 4 as recognized by SAQA).
- Relevant courses or training in a related field will be considered advantageous.
- General computer literacy, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently, under pressure, and during extended hours as needed.
