What You’ll Do

• Execute clinical duties with a focus on patient care and safety.
• Manage patients admitted to the hospital, ensuring effective care plans.
• Prepare and implement clinical guidelines and protocols.
• Participate in academic programs and training for healthcare staff.
• Conduct clinical audits to enhance service delivery.
• Support hospital management in maintaining high standards of patient care.
• Fulfill performance management requirements, including assessments.

What You’ll Need

• Medical qualifications for registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Specialist in Paediatric Cardiology.
• Relevant experience: less than 5 years for Grade 1, 5-10 years for Grade 2, and over 10 years for Grade 3.
• Strong knowledge of medical ethics and multidisciplinary management.
• Excellent clinical assessment and management skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure, with good communication skills.
• Knowledge of current health policies and legislation.
