Witbank Hospital is looking for dedicated individuals to join its team as a Contract Sessional Medical Specialist (Grade 1 – 3). What You’ll Do
- Manage and provide care for patients admitted to the hospital.
- Support the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols.

- Collaborate with hospital management to maintain high standards of patient care.
- Conduct quarterly performance reviews and assessments in line with departmental goals.
What You’ll Need
- Relevant qualifications allowing registration as a Medical Specialist in Paediatric Pulmonology with HPCSA.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience for Grade 1, 5 years for Grade 2, and 10 years for Grade 3 positions.
- Strong understanding of medical ethics and multidisciplinary teamwork.
- Proficient skills in clinical assessment, management, and patient care.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure, with good communication and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of current health policies, legislation, and priorities.
- Competence in teaching and guiding junior staff in the department.
