What You’ll Do

• Manage and oversee patient care in a level 2/3 service facility, ensuring adherence to high standards of medical practice.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols.
• Engage in academic and training programs to promote continuous professional development.
• Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
• Support hospital management in maintaining efficient patient care services.
• Conduct quarterly performance reviews and assessments in alignment with the Performance Management and Development System.

What You’ll Need

• Appropriate qualifications for registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Specialist in Dermatology.
• Valid work permit required for non-South African applicants.
• Strong foundation in medical ethics and a collaborative approach to multidisciplinary management.
• Relevant experience in a medical discipline: Grade 1 (less than 5 years), Grade 2 (5-10 years), Grade 3 (10+ years).
• Exceptional skills in consultations, clinical assessments, and patient management.
• Ability to work under pressure, independently and as part of a diverse team.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to mentoring junior staff.
