What You’ll Do

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop project work plans and make necessary adjustments to meet evolving needs.
• Oversee project accounting and financial management to ensure budget adherence.
• Report progress and challenges to the Chief Construction Project Manager.
• Liaise with service providers, clients, and management to facilitate project success.
• Conduct research and stay updated on new technologies and project management methodologies.
• Assist in tender administration and provide inputs to other professionals.

What You’ll Need

• National Senior Certificate plus a National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Four years of post-qualification project management experience in the construction sector, ideally with road construction experience.
• Professional registration with the South African Council for Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP) as a Professional Construction Project Manager.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and legal compliance.
• Excellent decision-making, leadership, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in financial management and technical report writing.
