What You’ll Do
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of construction projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop project work plans and make necessary adjustments to meet evolving needs.
- Oversee project accounting and financial management to ensure budget adherence.
- Report progress and challenges to the Chief Construction Project Manager.
- Liaise with service providers, clients, and management to facilitate project success.
- Conduct research and stay updated on new technologies and project management methodologies.
- Assist in tender administration and provide inputs to other professionals.
What You’ll Need
- National Senior Certificate plus a National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Four years of post-qualification project management experience in the construction sector, ideally with road construction experience.
- Professional registration with the South African Council for Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP) as a Professional Construction Project Manager.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and legal compliance.
- Excellent decision-making, leadership, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in financial management and technical report writing.
