About the Role

What You’ll Do
- Maintain high hygiene standards in and around assigned SAPS premises
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, polishing, and vacuuming
- Clean bathrooms and kitchens, ensuring they are sanitary and well-stocked
- Safeguard and handle cleaning materials responsibly
- Perform loading and unloading of goods as necessary
- Wash and clean state vehicles, kitchenware, and utensils
- Follow Occupational Health and Safety protocols while performing cleaning tasks
What You’ll Need
- Competency in the core functions of cleaning as outlined in the job description
- Proficiency in English and at least one other official South African language
- South African citizenship with relevant documentation
- ABET Level 4, Grade 9, Standard 7, or NQF Level 1 qualification
- Basic literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
- Ability to interact professionally with other officials
- Willingness to work extended hours when necessary
- Basic knowledge of handling cleaning detergents and equipment
