What You’ll Do

• Maintain high hygiene standards in and around assigned SAPS premises
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, polishing, and vacuuming
• Clean bathrooms and kitchens, ensuring they are sanitary and well-stocked
• Safeguard and handle cleaning materials responsibly
• Perform loading and unloading of goods as necessary
• Wash and clean state vehicles, kitchenware, and utensils
• Follow Occupational Health and Safety protocols while performing cleaning tasks

What You’ll Need

• Competency in the core functions of cleaning as outlined in the job description
• Proficiency in English and at least one other official South African language
• South African citizenship with relevant documentation
• ABET Level 4, Grade 9, Standard 7, or NQF Level 1 qualification
• Basic literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
• Ability to interact professionally with other officials
• Willingness to work extended hours when necessary
• Basic knowledge of handling cleaning detergents and equipment
