What You’ll Do

• Implement security policies in accordance with relevant acts and national directives.
• Conduct threat monitoring and risk assessments to safeguard departmental assets.
• Manage the deployment and functioning of security operations effectively.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with security measures at official residences and offices.
• Liaise with national security agencies, including the National Intelligence Agency and the South African Police Services.
• Coordinate security awareness and training initiatives for staff.
• Oversee the management of private security service provider contracts.
• Conduct investigations into security incidents and breaches as necessary.
• Provide operational and administrative support regarding security activities and assessments.

What You’ll Need

• NQF Level 4 or Senior/Grade 12 Certificate.
• Valid Security Grade A PSIRA Certificate.
• National Diploma in Security Management is an advantage.
• National Key Point Certificate and SAPS Firearm Competency for various firearms.
• A minimum of three years’ supervisory experience in a National Key Point environment is preferred.
• Current and valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of security legislation (e.g., MISS, Protection of Information Act).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with diverse teams.
