What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate the implementation of the Employment Equity Plan across various sectors.
  • Consolidate data collection efforts and produce comprehensive reporting on Employment Equity profiling.
  • Provide support in the development of policies and engage in consultation processes with stakeholders.
  • Assist in the interpretation and application of Public Service Regulations and relevant legislation.
  • Facilitate meetings and events related to Human Resource Management and Employment Equity.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform policy development and improve HR practices.
  • Prepare and edit documents, including reports and policy drafts, ensuring clarity and accuracy.

What You’ll Need

  • A qualification at NQF level 6 in Human Management, Public Management, Public Administration, or Business Management, as recognized by SAQA.
  • A minimum of two years of functional experience in Human Resource Management, particularly in Employment Equity and HR policies.
  • Familiarity with PERSAL and Excel is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of the Public Service Regulations, Batho Pele Principles, Employment Equity Act, and related legislation.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, alongside effective interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial management, decision-making, and policy interpretation.
  • Competence in document editing, policy drafting, and report writing.
