What You’ll Do
- Provide strategic leadership in the Private Office of the Chief Justice.
- Manage the effective administration of office operations, including financial and human resources.
- Serve as the main contact between the Private Office and the Secretary General’s Office.
- Coordinate protocol, security, and technical support services.
- Offer executive and administrative support to the Chief Justice and Deputy Chief Justice.
- Manage stakeholder relations with both domestic and international entities.
- Oversee the planning of significant events hosted by the Chief Justice.
- Liaise with other branches of government to support ceremonial functions.
- Develop and implement administrative systems for document management.
- Prepare draft speeches and related documents as needed.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 certificate and an LLB or equivalent qualification in Law (NQF 7) recognized by SAQA.
- A postgraduate qualification in Management or Law is an advantage.
- A minimum of five years’ experience at a Senior Management level, preferably in public or private sectors.
- Proven ability to draft and quality control complex policy documents and legal instruments.
- Understanding of the South African legal system and executive office functions.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with advanced research and writing capabilities.
- Proficient in MS Office applications and willingness to travel.
- A valid driver’s license and eligibility for top-secret security clearance.
- Attributes include being self-driven, attentive to detail, and possessing excellent communication skills.

Requirements
Applicants should be in possession of a Grade 12 certificate and an LLB or equivalent qualification in Law (NQF 7) as recognized by SAQA.A postgraduate qualification in Management or Legal will be an added advantage.
A minimum of five (5) years’ appropriate experience at Senior Management level.
Experience in management either in the public or private sector.

Job Duties
Provide strategic leadership in the Private Office of the Chief Justice.Manage and ensure the effective and efficient administration of the Private Office of the Chief Justice.
Act as principal point of contact between the Private Office of the Chief Justice and the Office of the Secretary General of the OCJ.
Manage financial, human and other resources allocated to the Private Office of the Chief Justice.
Provide and coordinate protocol, security and related technical or legal administration support services.
Provide executive and administrative support to the Chief Justice and the Deputy Chief Justice inclusive of household support services.
Provide domestic and international stakeholder relations management services.
Oversee the planning of major international and domestic events hosted by the Chief Justice.
Provide executive liaison services to the Chief Justice and the Deputy Chief Justice in support of their ceremonial functions and interaction with the Executive and Legislative Branches of the State.
Develop, maintain, and implement administrative (document and other 80 management) systems for the Private Office of the Chief Justice.
Develop, manage and coordinate the preparation of draft speeches, research and related documents as required by the Chief Justice and the Deputy Chief Justice.
