What You’ll Do
- Provide strategic leadership to the Finance and Supply Chain Management Branch.
- Manage human, financial, and physical resources effectively.
- Oversee governance, risk, and compliance processes to ensure audit readiness.
- Lead the development of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Offer strategic financial advice to executive management on fiscal planning and investments.
- Implement financial governance frameworks and manage internal controls.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement and represent the department in financial management structures.
- Develop and review financial and supply chain management policies aligned with national legislation.
- Ensure achievement of performance targets and operational efficiency within the branch.
What You’ll Need
- A qualification in Accounting or Financial Management at NQF level 8 (SAQA recognised).
- At least 8 years of experience at a Senior Management level in a financial management environment.
- Proven experience in leading complex financial functions, including governance and audit practices.
- Advanced knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and Treasury Regulations.
- Strong digital leadership skills and a track record in driving innovation within financial processes.
- Excellent analytical and operations management capabilities.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required.
- Successful completion of the Nyukela Pre-entry Certificate to Senior Management Services is essential.
