What You’ll Do
- Lead the rendering of Human Resource Management & Development Services.
- Manage strategic support and administration services across the department.
- Oversee legal support services, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and policies.
- Ensure security compliance and drive transformation initiatives within the department.
- Oversee the management of ICT, corporate communication, and knowledge management.
- Ensure compliance with the Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA) and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
- Monitor and coordinate the strategic planning cycle, including business plans and performance reports.
- Manage and provide support services to the entire department, ensuring efficient operations.
- Develop and implement systems for optimal internal decision-making and minimize risks.
- Oversee the departmental Performance Management and Development System (PMDS) for Senior Management Services.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience at a senior management level or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate services management in the public sector.
- Strong strategic capability and leadership skills.
- Proficient in program and project management, financial management, and change management.
- Excellent communication, networking, and presentation skills.
- Problem-solving abilities and a focus on client orientation.
- Comprehensive understanding of policy frameworks governing the public sector.
