What You’ll Do
- Lead the profiling of large and complex businesses to ensure accurate statistical representation.
- Manage the maintenance of identified statistical business units and oversee their quality.
- Drive innovation in methodologies related to the statistical business register.
- Oversee the classification of businesses according to their economic activities and institutional sectors.
- Develop policies, procedures, and strategic plans to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Direct and manage resources effectively, ensuring optimal team performance.
What You’ll Need
- A Bachelor’s degree or NQF 7 qualification in Business Management, Economics, Statistics, or Data Science.
- Training in Total Quality Management, Project Management, Financial Management, or Data Science.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience at a senior managerial level within statistical production processes.
- Extensive experience in data collection, statistical analysis, and business classification.
- Strong understanding of the South African business environment, including VAT/TAX legislation.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and a good command of Financial Management and Business Management principles.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong strategic thinking capabilities and the ability to work under pressure.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
