What You’ll Do

• Lead the profiling of large and complex businesses to ensure accurate statistical representation.
• Manage the maintenance of identified statistical business units and oversee their quality.
• Drive innovation in methodologies related to the statistical business register.
• Oversee the classification of businesses according to their economic activities and institutional sectors.
• Develop policies, procedures, and strategic plans to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Direct and manage resources effectively, ensuring optimal team performance.

What You’ll Need

• A Bachelor’s degree or NQF 7 qualification in Business Management, Economics, Statistics, or Data Science.
• Training in Total Quality Management, Project Management, Financial Management, or Data Science.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience at a senior managerial level within statistical production processes.
• Extensive experience in data collection, statistical analysis, and business classification.
• Strong understanding of the South African business environment, including VAT/TAX legislation.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and a good command of Financial Management and Business Management principles.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong strategic thinking capabilities and the ability to work under pressure.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
