What You’ll Do
- Assist with coordination of internal and external audit processes
- Support requests from external auditors
- Help implement Audit Action Plans to address findings
- Aid in the implementation of the PROBITY process to enhance governance
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with auditing standards
What You’ll Need
- An undergraduate qualification in Internal Audit, Auditing, or Accounting at NQF Level 6 as recognized by SAQA
- No prior experience is required, but you should not have participated in any previous internship programs
- Knowledge of Auditor General Processes, Internal Audit Manual, and relevant public finance legislation
- Strong communication skills and computer literacy
- Ability to manage time effectively and work well with others
- Good report writing skills and analytical abilities
- Creative thinking and presentation skills
