What You’ll Do

• Manage service delivery and ensure high standards in nursing operations at the Brooklyn Chest Hospital
• Oversee resource management within the nursing department, including consumables and staffing
• Identify staff development needs and coordinate training and support in partnership with the Human Resource team
• Collaborate with top management on strategic and operational functions to enhance nursing care quality
• Lead and direct a multi-disciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care and operational efficiency

What You’ll Need

• A Basic R425 qualification (diploma/degree in nursing) or equivalent that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant nursing experience, including at least 3 years in a management role
• Valid registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to work overtime and standby duties
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and manage a team effectively
• Proficiency in MS Office and a solid understanding of nursing and public service legislation
